Ok, here we go! Six months in the making and here we are OFFICIALLY launching this thing! That six months definitely haven’t been idle. For those of you who know me personally you’re well aware that I’m not really an internet inclined person. I’d been so fully thrown into my career in the coffee industry for the past twelve and a half years that there really wasn’t time for Insta-pic-ing and Tweet-spacing or whatever (and yes of course those are technical terms). So I’ve been very busy trying to acquaint myself with apps and learning how to utilize WordPress (which is still a work in progress for me).
I’ve also been busy in my kitchen! Cooking, baking, learning new techniques and LOVING every minute of it! Unexpectedly, that has turned into a bigger aspect of this business than I initially anticipated as we had our first official boozy cupcake sale this holiday season! 🙂 Very excited for that!! So, be on the lookout in 2020 for a possible expansion of services!
In the meantime, I’d like to thank all of you who have patiently waited for me to officially get up and rolling, and have signed up for the newsletter and followed Wine and Flours on Facebook and Instagram. This is still very new to me AND I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge and my journey with all of you through my food exploration and my sommelier journey.
We’ll explore the world of adult beverages, baked goods, cooking, and even include some things from the growing canna-culinary industry. There’s so much cross over and so many new and ever changing things to explore! Join me on this delicious journey of this thing called life!
Rachel, this is so cool! So sad I missed the boozy cupcakes – I am signing up for the newsletter now. 2020 is going to be awesome, can’t wait to see what’s coming.
Hi Monica! Thanks so much for coming to check out the launch of our blog and for signing up for our newsletter. Don’t worry you didn’t really miss out on the boozy cupcakes! If you head over to our Instagram you can see some pics of the ones we sold and some others we’ve tried over the past few months. Recipes will be something we’ll begin posting down the line 😉
